I am incredibly passionate about ensuring vocalists feel confident in their musical abilities. Many vocalists feel they do not learn the important musicianship skills early in their studies. I strive to provide my students with proper musical training in the context of the voice. This includes an adaptive, vocalist's approach to music theory and musicianship skills.

Vocal lessons will focus on proper vocal technique, vocal expression, and the exploration of the voice. A keen ability to examine vocal performance allows my students to explore their independent sound in the context of their musical influences.

For every vocal student, I create their own personal practice tracks for each tune, which include a backing track in any key (with or without melody reference played on the piano), and a reference vocal track. With online lessons during the pandemic, these tracks are crucial for students to develop their musicianship skills.
